The open plan living/dining/kitchen on the ground floor is centred around the cosy wood burner and also has bi-fold doors open onto the patio, where you can relax with a glass of your favourite tipple after a day’s exploring. Upstairs there are two spacious bedrooms as well as a family bathroom which features a slipper bath and separate shower cubicle.

In the village, Farnborough Hall, a National Trust property, is well worth a visit during the summer when it opens 2 days a week, and you can even enjoy tea and cake in the village hall on opening days. Get into local village life by buying your meat from the butchers van that visits Farnborough on a Saturday, and serve up a sumptuous English breakfast for your loved ones.
