This property occupies an elevated position, you can enter by a flight of 9 steps at the front or via a ramp at the rear. The kitchen/dining room sits to the rear of the property overlooking the garden and is a fabulous social space for a real family gathering or celebration! When you’re ready to begin exploring this historic town, begin with a trip to the incredible and famous Alnwick Castle right on your doorstep, one of the largest inhabited castles in the UK and used as ‘Hogwarts’ when filming scenes for the ‘Harry Potter’ films, so it’s a must-visit for any fans. The Alnwick Garden is also an exciting visit with its spectacular interpretation of a formal garden, including the Grand Cascade waterfall, poison garden and largest tree house in Europewhere guests can dine in the restaurant.

Heading 4 miles east is the picture-perfect coastal village of Alnmouth where there is a gorgeous golden sandy beach.
A short drive west brings you to the small town of Rothbury, found nestled at the foot of the Simonside Hills and where the River Coquet ebbs and flows.
