Cheviot Cottage is an attractive, single-storey cottage for two nestled within the charming Bluebell Farm caravan park in the heart of Belford. With four steps leading to its entrance the accommodation benefits from then being all on one level. If needed, there is a public launderette in adjoining premises.
A warm welcome greets guests in Belford; often described as “the Gateway to the Secret Kingdom” it offers many facilities including a pubs/cafés serving food, shops, a small hotel, and bus and taxi services. The picturesque coastal village of Bamburgh, dominated by its majestic fortress and wide expanse of golden, sandy sweeping beach is a mere 6 miles east.


The friendly market town of Wooler, nestled at the foot of the Cheviot Hills is 10 miles west - a popular destination for those who enjoy cycling, hang-gliding, golf, horse-riding and walking, with the challenging route of the St Cuthbert’s Way running close by. Chatton Trout Fishery invites amateur anglers to fish without a rod licence in a picturesque 4-acre lake just 5 miles away. Belford is positioned less than a half mile west of the A1, equidistant between the elegant Georgian town of Berwick which straddles the salmon-rich River Tweed to the north, and the cobbled, market town of Alnwick, protected by its dramatic castle to the south - both offering a wide array of amenities only 15 miles away.

Alnwick Garden is a popular visitor attraction to see the Grand Cascade Waterfall and dine in the restaurant within the largest tree house in Europe.
