This location is truly a haven for peace and tranquillity yet just a couple of miles from Lowick village where local amenities are available. The tidal island of Lindisfarne is just a short drive from Shepherds Kirk. The causeway leading onto the island is swept by the North Sea but safe to cross twice daily.
The cottage is near two well known climbing sites Kyloe Crags and Kyloe in the Wood. The friendly small town of Wooler sits at the foot of the Cheviot Hills only 10 miles away and offers many amenities. This is a popular destination for those who enjoy cycling, golf, horse riding and walking the challenging route of the St Cuthbert’s Way runs close by. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
