Formerly a cart shed, Corn Cottage offers spectacular views of the Holy Island of Lindisfarne from the upper floors and is a mere 550 yards from the stunning Northumbrian coastline, classified as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. One of a row of three, the property is an ideal base for a relaxing family holiday with many places of interest to visit including a nearby bird sanctuary; Bamburgh with its imposing castle; Seahouses, which offers boat trips to the Farne Islands (in season). Alnwick Castle with its famous gardens makes for an alternative day out as does the pretty town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. The cottage offers a delightful place to return to after all this exploring, with a bathroom and kitchen refurbished in March 2019 for your enjoyment. Shop, pub and restaurant 4 miles.
