Originally dating back to the 1600s as part of Mainsfield Farm, the barns, dairies, and hay stores have been transformed in a £1. 2 million restoration, now offering five luxury holiday cottages – Wagtail, Swallow, Barn Owl, Peewit and Red Kite – collectively sleeping up to 22 guests.
Set within a secure gated development with private parking and daytime concierge service, the cottages provide a warm welcome. Guests are greeted at reception with their keys, cottage information and a thoughtful welcome pack including fluffy robes and slippers. Peewit Cottage is a stylish ground-floor retreat, designed with comfort in mind and fully pet-friendly. The open-plan living and dining area features a flicker-effect fire, smart TV and comfortable seating, while the modern, well-equipped kitchen has everything needed for a relaxed self-catering stay.

One of Peewit’s highlights is its private indoor spa suite with a bubbling hot tub, breakfast bar and robe hangers – the perfect place to unwind.
