Sleeping nine guests in total, this is a well-equipped house perfect for family or friends, with plenty of space to socialise together.
At the front of the property you are only a stone’s throw from the sea, this bay is popular on calm days with paddleboarders, as well as being a fun spot to bodyboard when there are waves. From the house take a stroll along the 1½ mile promenade and follow the signposted history trail or make your way to the marina which is surrounded by a mix of bistros, bars, cafes and restaurants. There are many wonderful attractions nearby, including Saltholme RSPB Reserve where rich bird life and seals can be spotted, the National Glass Centre at Sunderland for a day out with a difference, as well as Summerhill nature reserve and outdoor play centre.

The National Museum of the Royal Navy in Hartlepool’s Harbour is a must. For the more active, the National Cycle Network Route 14 can be found in the local town and takes you all the way to Seaham, while the North York Moors National Park is well-worth venturing to. As this is such a huge historical property it is gradually being restored to its former glory in stages, you are staying in a little slice of Hartlepool’s past. Beach 160 yard
