This fabulous wooden lodge has a cosy open plan living,dining,kitchen and bedroom areas, boasting a Smart TV and comfortable furnishings and fittings to ensure you will feel right at home. There is also a large patio door leading out to your decked area, complete with a fire pit and a wood-fired tub. Boasting views over the picturesque countryside beyond, it makes the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee whilst you plan your day.
There are many great places worth visiting in the surrounding area, including the nearby Roman town of Corbridge, filled with quaint coffee shops and boutique shops, along with a beautiful river walk and the Roman wall for the history enthusiast.

Just a few miles away, you will find the Terris Novalis, two striking pieces of sculpture relating to the old steel works of the town. Walking enthusiasts will enjoy the many walks around the town of Consett, whilst cyclists can take the coast-to-coast cycle route, taking in many lovely views. While Durham is 20 minutes away and Newcastle city centre just a 30-minute drive, this is the perfect location for those looking to experience the northern culture.

Surrounded by acres of grounds and fields, there is also a full-size tennis court, which visitors are welcome to enjoy. If you’re in need of getting away from it all and spending some downtime surrounded by nature, this is just the thing! Shop 5 miles, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.
