Kitchen: Farmhouse style with electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, washing machine, tiled floor and patio doors leading to tiered decked area.

Bedroom 1: With double bed and wooden floor.
Bedroom 2: With twin beds, USB socket and wooden floor.
Bedroom 3: With single bed and wooden floor.
Shower room: With shower cubicle, toilet, heated towel rail and tiled floor.

Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for multi-fuel burner included, remainder at £5 per bag. Travel cot and highchair.

Set within the highly acclaimed International Dark Sky Park on the edge of Kielder Water and Forest Park, this charming 1800’s character cottage sits back from the road in a small terrace and offers easy access to the many attractions nearby. The large picture windows in both the kitchen and living room, and the tiered decking to the rear ensure you have fabulous views over the reservoir from both inside and out. The shabby chic style of this pretty cottage, with its wooden shuttered windows, traditional beams and a large welcoming multi-fuel burner, is ideal for relaxing and unwinding after a day exploring the many visitor attractions throughout the county. There are walks available from the door, and the Kielder Marathon and cycle races pass by the cottage; head through the rear gate down the field and straight onto the cycle route.


The Gold Tier International Dark Sky Park, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is the largest in Europe, perfect for stargazers and photographers, and is located only a few hundred yards from the edge of Kielder Water. Visit Kielder Observatory (booking required) for a chance to spot the Northern Lights. Lake View Cottage is ideal for couples or a small family, with Tower Knowe visitor centre, where you can discover the rich history of Kielder Water and Forest Park, and the local pub only a mile away. Adventure seekers will enjoy cycling, walking, sailing or fishing which are all available nearby.

Leaplish Waterside Park is only 5 miles away offering a swimming pool and spa, a lovely pub and visitor centre, a hop on ferry, a bird of prey centre, picnic tables and stunning views.
The historic town of Hexham is only 26 miles and Bellingham, only 10 miles away, has an array of local amenities including a bank, post office, pubs and shops. Alnwick Castle, 51 miles, Hadrian’s Wall or the Northumberland Heritage Coast make great days out and are easily accessible by car.
