A perfect home from home, presented to a good standard for those wishing to spend some quality time together. Should you stay at home, you can unwind in front of the 60" TV, or sit near the wood burner in the cosy kitchen/dining room.
With so much to see and do around this area, it is perfect for all ages and offers plenty of nature all year round. The night skies are outstanding, set in the National Park with the biggest man made lake in Europe and at over 250 square miles, the park is the largest working forest in England.

With three visitor centres, including historic Kielder castle, you will find loads to explore. A great area for adventure seekers, with land and water based activities, explorers who may want to try the many walking routes, or simply go wild at the nature reserves. You may also be able to spot some of the local wildlife which were re-introduced to the area, including water voles and ospreys.
The area is perfect for exploring a little further afield, perhaps over to the Scottish Borders, or Hadrian’s Wall country or even over to the stunning heritage coast.

The skies here are darker than anywhere in the country, so star gazing is immensely popular with the observatory well worth a visit, but be sure to book first. Fishing on the 2000-acre water is perfect, and you can hire a boat if you want to try different spots. Let’s not forget mountain bikers, who can enjoy routes for all levels and abilities, surrounded by the stunning scenery. If high ropes and zip wires are your thing, or sea scooters and water waltzers, then Kielder has something for everyone. A real Northumberland gem with something for all age groups.
