The Drey is perfectly located on this quiet residential country park set between the woodland of Wansbeck Riverside Park Nature Reserve and the banks of the River Wansbeck. Ideal for couples or a small family. With a modern Shower room, a small kitchen, a cosy double bed and a twin room along with a bright open plan living area with comfy seats and a large smart TV with free Wi-Fi. The patio doors can be opened out to enjoy nature at its best. The raised gated decking is wonderful for sitting and enjoying your morning coffee while enjoying the lovely calming and relaxing scenery.
The park gained Local Nature Reserve status in 2007 and visitors have the opportunity to spot a wide variety of wildlife such as birds, rabbits, roe deer and red squirrels.

The location is ideal set on the banks of the river, perfect for paddle boards and kayaks which can be launched from the nearby slipway (no motors). Cyclists will enjoy being close to cycle routes, whilst walkers can enjoy following the river to the east. The on-site café is popular with locals and is open daily with both indoor and outdoor seating available. Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Wansbeck Riverside Caravan Park has easy access to local shops, bars and the stunning beaches of the Northumberland Coast.
Inland you can visit the fabulous National Park or Hadrian’s Wall.

Only 4 miles to the wonderful sandy beach in Newbiggin by the sea, a popular little seaside village with plenty of amenities for all age groups. The popular small market town of Morpeth is only 10 minutes away with a smart Edwardian indoor shopping arcade and plenty of places to explore. Visitors to The Burrow and Hedgehog Hideaway will enjoy the opportunity to relax and unwind.
