Set in the small picturesque village of Hepple, next to the post office and right on the edge of the Northumberland National Park with easy access to Rothbury, this cosy and characterful, 19th-century cottage is surrounded by stunning scenery looking over the Coquetdale towards the Simonside hills. The small garden to the rear is ideal for relaxing with family or friends. Rothbury, 5 miles, has a selection of pubs, tea rooms, an award winning butcher, river walks and children’s park. Alnwick with castle, famous for the scenes in Harry Potter, is only a few miles drive. Travel into the National Park on an evening and sample ‘The Dark Skies’. Easy driving distance to National Trust properties, Cragside and Wallington Hall. An ideal location for those simply wishing to tour the delights of this very special and unspoilt country, known to many as the secret Kingdom. Shop and pub 3½ miles.
