Chatton has a village shop, a pub serving food, and Chatton Trout Fishery on the cusp of the village, which invites amateur anglers to fish without a rod licence in its well-stocked 4-acre lake. The small town of Wooler sits at the foot of the Cheviot Hills and is only 5 miles inland - a popular destination for walkers and cyclists.
The challenging route of the ’St Cuthbert’s Way’ is close by. The stunning coastline this region is renowned for, is only a short drive east, with the majestic castle at Bamburgh well worth a visit.
