This cosy holiday cottage can be found nestled in the charming village of Hollingworth, just 2 miles from the Peak District National Park. It offers a wonderful base for a blend of urban and rural activities, with easy access to both Manchester and extensive open countryside.
Small but perfectly formed, the property is set out over one level and has been beautifully decorated with an excellent use of space. You’ll stay snug with an electric radiator and wood-burning stove, with unlimited wood provided to ensure a toasty atmosphere throughout your stay.

Meals are to be enjoyed on your knee or check out the delicious local fare with a couple of food-serving pubs, bakeries, restaurants and take-away all within a 5-minute walk. The friendly host and family live onsite with privacy ensured, and there’s direct access to acres of woodland behind the property, perfect for strolls with furry companions who are welcome to join in the holiday fun.
The bustling market town of Glossop is just 3 miles away with ample amenities including shops, pubs, restaurants and supermarkets. Being on the edge of the Peak District National Park also means an abundance of popular towns and villages such as Edale, Castleton, and the famous spa town of Buxton are all within a 40-minute drive.

The wonderful village of Hayfield neighbours Glossop and is popular with walkers due to its proximity to Kinder Scout. Hayfield caters well for tourists with its own collection of pubs, cafés, and restaurants. If you’re looking for city life, the bright lights of Manchester are just a half hour’s drive away or 30 minutes on a direct train from Broadbottom or Glossop.
