Contemporary in style yet retaining some of the original features, the properties stand to the side of the B5305 and allow good road access to the Lake District National Park, The Solway Coast, Hadrian’s Wall and Scotland. It has something for everyone; history, art galleries, bird watching, outdoor pursuits, foot and cycle paths, a busy calendar of events with festivals, craft fairs, farmer’s markets and traditional agricultural shows. Relax and enjoy driving through the spectacular scenery and stop off at one of the attractive villages to sample the local food and hospitality. Caldbeck Common and the village of Caldbeck (4 miles) offer a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. The historic city of Carlisle (10 miles) is just south of Scotland. Bassenthwaite Lake and the Lakeland town of Keswick (19 miles) offer further attractions to enjoy. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.
