The shower runs off collected rainfall, there is a composting toilet, and the electricity is generated by solar power, to create a minimal carbon footprint. The hut is cosy and has all the basic facilities you need including a gas hob burner, fridge and sink, and you can also heat food on top of the log burner.
The main appeal of this hut is its location, it blends beautifully into the surrounding woods which are alive with wildlife including deer, badgers and bats to name a few.

The views over the Duddon Estuary are simply breathtaking and change with every season so whether you wake in the morning to see a deer strolling by or you relax in the wood-burning hot tub as you stare up to the stars, the stresses and strains of modern life will simply ebb away.
If you can pull yourself away from this beautiful spot, then there is plenty to enjoy in the local area, the Cumbrian Coastal Way runs at the bottom of the hill for walkers to enjoy or the stunning waters of Coniston and Windermere are within ½ hours drive, you can take to the waters any way you choose either enjoy a lake cruise, paddle boarding or kayaking.

Maybe you prefer a little retail therapy, the local towns Millom, Broughton in Furness and Ulverston offer an array of independent shops or a nice selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants.
