Kendal, a medieval market town with cobbled streets and riverside walks and is a super base from where to explore Kirkby Lonsdale and the Dales as well as the Lake District, both being within a 15-minute drive. The Old Woodyard also benefits from easy access to the surrounding fells (5-minute walk) and 10 minutes walk to the town centre. The property offers superb facilities for couples or small families, the open plan living accommodation offering a rather social atmosphere, perfect for relaxing evenings round the dining table or in front of the fireplace. Exposed beams serve as a reminder to the age of this old building but also add character.
