This beautiful property has been fully renovated in 2018. Walla Yat can comfortably sleep up to six adults in two spacious kingsize bedrooms and a twin room with full sized bunk beds. The ground floor has been turned into a really social and open plan living space, complete with a comfortable living room with leather sofas and a wood burner for those cosy nights by the fire.
You can curl up and enjoy complimentary Netflix on the television or maybe just sit and enjoy the views of the nearby fells and lake from the oversized windows to the rear. Adjoining, you will find a modern, high spec kitchen with dishwasher, range cooker and dining room for preparing those fantastic feasts, as well as a wet room and garage/utility room with washing machine. Outside you have plenty of parking and large gardens in which to enjoy the fresh air.
If you like outdoor adventure including walking, cycling and climbing, you are surrounded by some amazing scenery and routes around Latrigg and Catbells. Nearby you will find Skiddaw, Blencathra and Helvellyn to name a few. If you want to leave the car behind you can walk directly from the property in about 25 minutes to Castlerigg Stone Circle which is well worth a visit.
You can also walk into Keswick in about 30 minutes. Keswick is vibrant with a great outdoor market and plenty of places to eat and drink. Its bustling centre has an abundance of quality restaurants, pubs serving local cask ales, independent shops and the obligatory outdoor and fashion brands. This traditional market town is one not to be missed.
If you like culture, check out the Theatre By The Lake, 1¾ miles, with award-winning arts and drama on the banks of Derwentwater, where you can hire a rowing boat or even take a dip. For family fun, why not try Puzzling Place, 1½ miles, a mind boggling attraction based on optical illusions. For a really wild day out, try the Lake District Wildlife Park at Bassenthwaite or The Lakes Distillery offering daily tasting and tours, both 8 miles. Keswick Golf Club is 4½ miles. and then there’s Walla Yat! Shop and restaurant 380 yards, pub 200 yards.
