Beautifully furnished with beamed vaulted ceilings throughout, and French doors in the cosy living room provide wonderful unspoilt views over the surrounding countryside. A further sitting-out area is provided in the woodland that borders the property, and the extensive grounds overlook a stunning lake and nature reserve making it a bird watcher’s paradise.
The popular rural hamlet of Lower Withington is set in the beautiful Cheshire countryside amidst an abundance of stunning local attractions.
The fashionable Cheshire Golden Triangle of Prestbury, Wilmslow and Alderley Edge can all be reached in around 15 minutes as can the attractive market town of Knutsford. Macclesfield as a gateway to the Peak District National Park, can be reached in around 20 minutes and has parks, rivers, canals and reservoirs all on the doorstep. Between them you’ll find a decadent fusion of city treats and rural charms with independent shops, cafés, bars and restaurants galore.
Jodrell Bank, home to the world-famous Lovell Telescope, is just a 5-minute drive and is also home to interactive exhibits, 35 acres of gardens and year round events. Capesthorne Hall can be reached in around 10 minutes, Tatton Park in around 20 minutes and Arley Hall and Gardens or National Trust’s Dunham Massey in around half an hour. Alderley Edge has some fantastic walking terrain for everyone to enjoy, and The Carrs in nearby Wilmslow has footpaths linking direct into Styal Country Park.
