Shower room: With double shower cubicle, toilet and heated towel rail.

Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included. External utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer (shared with other properties on-site).

Sitting-out area. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: No children under 16 years old. There is a stream close to the hut.

The Shepherds Hut at Gowan Bank Farm is just 3 miles from Windermere, which is brimming with a great selection of bars, shops, restaurants, independent boutiques, and plenty of days out and activities nearby. Just 1-mile further and you will be at Bowness-on-Windermere and beside Lake Windermere where you can enjoy a boat trip over to the other side of this amazing stretch of water.

Here you’ll also find the world famous World of Beatrix Potter where you will learn of Potters writing. Water sports are also available on Windermere, and if you love outdoor adventure including walking, cycling and climbing you are surrounded by some amazing scenery and routes.
