Moorside Glamping gives you the amazing opportunity to wake up surrounded by stunning scenery and complete serenity, the ideal place to unwind and relax. The pods purposely do not have Wi-Fi so you can take the chance to completely detach from the stresses of modern life.

Stainton is one of six detached timber pods, sited in 2019 on Moorside working beef farm, offering the latest in micro-lodge technology. The pod features underfloor heating, living room with a double sofa bed for flexible sleeping arrangements, and a small dining area. The kitchen is well-equipped, so you can still prepare delicious home-cooked meals. There is a comfortable double bed and a TV, ideal for cosy evenings in together.

The pod even comes with its own private decking and picnic bench to sit and relax on, dine al-fresco or simply watch the wildlife. If you are bringing your four-legged friends along there is a fantastic shared field for them to run around in and enjoy!

Moorside Farm is set within 170 acres, and is a working Cumbrian Farm which raises Aberdeen Angus Cattle and it also has a small equine livery yard. Guests are welcome to bring their horses and use the stabling and paddock (at an extra charge to the owner) which can be booked directly through Moorside glamping.

There are many tourist attractions in the local area which include Muncaster Castle, The Ratty Railway and historic sites such as the Roman Bath House in Ravenglass and Roman Fort on Hardknot Pass.

There are fabulous walks straight from the glamping site and even a great short walk straight to the local pub and eatery. Just a stone’s throw away from the beach you can have some quality walks with the family and pets or why not take your horse along the shores? Moorside Glamping is the ideal location for walkers, equestrians and cyclists to enjoy the vistas of Western Cumbria! Beach 2 miles. Shop 2½ miles, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
