Utility room: With American style fridge/freezer and washer/dryer.
Bedroom 1: With double bed.
Bathroom: With roll top bath, shower attachment, toilet and heated towel rail.

First Floor:
Bedroom 2: With kingsize bed, Freeview TV and beams.
Bedroom 3: With twin beds and beams.
Shower room: With shower cubicle, toilet and heated towel rail.

Gas central heating (underfloor in bathroom), electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included.

Located in a sought after area below Orrest Head, The Croft was formerly the billiard room of Oaklands, a Victorian gentlemen’s residence, which sits elevated above Windermere. Dating back to the mid 19th-century, this unique stone built, linked-detached cottage now offers contemporary and comfortable holiday accommodation in a prime Lake District location. The cottage is thoughtfully laid out over two floors and has a splendid extension providing a spacious dining/kitchen which has bi-folding doors opening onto the garden. The ground floor also offers a bright and welcoming living room with wood burner, as well as a double bedroom and family bathroom with roll top bath.

There is also a utility room which has direct access to the outside and can therefore be used for bikes. On the first floor are two further bedrooms and a shower room. Outside is an enclosed lawned garden with patio area and parking for two cars, something which is a real bonus in Windermere.
The town of Windermere with its range of shops, restaurants and supermarkets is within ½ mile, so The Croft is perfect for guests who like to have everything on their doorstep.

Bowness-on-Windermere, 1½ miles, also offers a great selection of bars, shops, cafés and restaurants, as well as being home to the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction. From here you can take a traditional steamer or boat trip across Lake Windermere. Other popular places to visit within easy reach include the Lakeland Motor Museum and Lakes Aquarium both 10 miles away, the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Steam Railway, 11 miles, Sizergh Castle, 12 miles, Levens Hall, 15 miles and the South Lakes Safari Zoo just 22 miles away.
