Extra Amenities
Around the corner from St. Augustine Abbey, this holiday home gives you the feeling of staying in a country cottage whilst being in the city centre. Set back in a quiet cul-de-sac, with wonderful Cathedral views, there’s also a lovely spacious enclosed garden at the back complete with a decked area, chiminea, table & chairs and a BBQ. A great space to enjoy during the warmer days of the year. On the cooler days sitting around the chiminea with a glass of mulled wine would be a delight too! Augustines Cottage has been tastefully decorated by its owners throughout.
Relax, put your feet up by the fire in the inviting comfortable sitting room and unwind after a day of shopping, exploring Kent or a visit to the magnificent Canterbury Cathedral. And oui, oui, the gorgeous sumptuous double bedroom has a slight French twist; sink in ’Le Grand’ classic French bed after you light some candles and emerge yourself from the bubble bath in the beautiful en-suite bathroom with a luxurious roll top bath. The equally spacious twin bedroom has views of the cathedral and has use of the downstairs shower room.
Only steps away from the city centre, we are very lucky to offer you this beautiful cottage. Ideal for a city break, great for those who love to shop or dine out. Also, explore the city’s quieter parts like Augustine’s Abbey (allows dogs in the grounds), take a river trip along the Stour. Walk or cycle the ’Crab & Winkle Way’ all the way to Whitstable at your leisure
