This South Mundham holiday cottage, on a Sussex working beef farm, has all the quirks of a traditional barn conversion and is in one of the most rural parts of Sussex. Enjoy the drive along beautiful and quiet rural lanes to The Fisher Dairy, a clever conversion of a single-storey barn. The farm is surrounded by open farmland, just a couple of miles to the north of Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve, offering great walks and cycling along the lanes, bridleways and footpaths of this delightful area.

Located next to the owners’ own converted barn, it offers modern and comfortable accommodation in a traditional building. With underfloor heating throughout and a wood burner, it is a cosy proposition. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom which is fitted with a shower bath. The kitchen, which combines with the living space, is comprehensively equipped and the large farmhouse table makes a great space for families.

Behind the Dairy there is a small garden that looks directly onto the farm.

South Mundham is a small hamlet amongst the most glorious open farmland. However its location is certainly not remote since The Fisher Dairy is perfect for both Chichester and the Goodwood events, being just 2½ miles outside the city centre. Located due south of Chichester, it is barely 2 miles across open fields to Pagham Harbour and is also close to Chichester Harbour. This part of the coastline is a haven for unusual birds and wildlife, with Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve and Chichester Harbour both being Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Pagham Harbour is an internationally important site for nature conservation, while Chichester Harbour also combines its wildlife attractions with sailing centres such as Itchenor, Bosham and Dell Quay. Between these harbours there are beaches at Selsey and the Witterings, the latter offering unrivalled views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight.
