Kitchen area: With electric oven, gas hob, large Range, microwave, fridge and washing machine.
First Floor:
Bedroom 1: With double bed and en-suite with shower cubicle and toilet.
Bedroom 2: With double bed.
Bathroom: With bath, shower attachment, toilet and heated towel rail.
Oil fired central heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner included. Welcome pack. Rear garden with patio and garden furniture. Stables and turnout for those wishing to bring their own horses (on request with owner). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: 3 dogs welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times unless in the garden (working farm).
A charming thatched home that forms a major part of Hooper’s Farmhouse in a lovely village setting, with a great pub just steps away! Charming, rustic and so cosy, this home is perfect for couples looking for a great base from which to explore this wonderful part of Wiltshire, or simply relax in a peaceful rural setting. With two bedrooms and two bathrooms along with an open plan living/dining room with kitchen, perfect for rustling up supper and enjoying good company over a drink or two! Outside the enclosed garden is small but perfect to sit, relax and enjoy a drink after a day’s exploring the village setting.
Although rural, it offers a village shop, great village inn with a superb Italian restaurant - booking highly recommended.
Salisbury Plain itself is a wildlife haven and offers fantastic walking and cycling routes; please check locally as Salisbury Plain is also home to an army training area.
No trip to Salisbury Plain would be complete without visiting the iconic Neolithic, stone circle of Stonehenge; it’s also worth visiting the charming cathedral city of Salisbury with plenty of independent, shops, pubs and places to eat.
If you are looking for a trip further afield, the stunning New Forest National Park is about an hour away and offers fantastic walking and cycling and is peppered with charming villages, many with traditional village inns, and the dramatic Jurassic Coastline of Dorset is also within an hour and a half drive to the south.
