Things to do when visiting Devizes in Wiltshire.

Take an easy stroll, being as it is on the flat, around the 29 locks of the Kennet and Avon Canal which lead up to the town, for some spectacular views. Visit the Wiltshire Museum and its wonderful and quite famous Bronze Age collection. And another great Devizes attraction, spurred on by seeing the magnificent shire horses making daily deliveries throughout the town, is the independent Wadsworth Brewery which can be found at the north end of Market Place. The brewery was founded in 1875 and you can be sure to taste the local produce in one of the many pubs in and around the town.
