Central heating (£40 per week February, March, October November and December), electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Small garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking. No smoking. Please note: No babies or children under 8 years old.
This single storey holiday lodge is situated in its own private garden overlooking the 3-acre cottage garden. The garden is accessible to guests of Lavender Lea free of charge during the opening hours of 10am-4. 30pm Wed-Sat. There is also a family-run tearoom on-site serving delicious homemade cakes, cream teas and light lunches. There are buzzards, red kites, pheasants and plenty of wild birds which feed from the flower seed heads throughout the year. The setting offers beautiful and tranquil scenery, ideal for relaxing with a book and a glass of wine or cup of coffee.
This is an ideal area for walking/cycling and sightseeing. Lavender Lea is within 1 mile of the New Forest with acres of heath and woodlands and famous for its free roaming ponies, cattle, donkeys and foraging boar. The ancient city of Salisbury with its magnificent cathedral, 12 miles. Southampton with its fantastic West Quay shopping mall and leisure complex also offers easy access to the Isle of Wight. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
