Extra Amenities

Furnace House Annexe (ref UK35202) is a heritage building with gorgeous, refurbished interiors. Throughout your stay you’ll have access to a massive lake and forested grounds, as well as a swimming pool. Located in Furnace Wood, this is a period property with stunning interiors including many aspects of its heritage past. The property has been restored to the highest quality by the owners, who now live in a house in the grounds. Furnace House Annexe is so much more than you’d expect from an annexe. It is a luxurious and exciting property. There is a large living room with a wood burner and a massive sofa. There is another living room area with adjacent dining area. The kitchen is modern and beautifully presented.
Located in Furnace Wood, Furnace House (ref UK33635) is a period property with an extremely unique difference and the most amazing interior with all the quirkiness you’d usually find with a period house. The house itself was originally two workman’s cottages dating to about 1758 when the Iron industry was operating for the second time.

The woods are situated in what is known as the ‘Weald’ from Old English meaning forest.
From the very moment you walk into Furnace House you know how opulent and luxurious your stay is going to be as the interior is exceptionally decorated with some amazing furniture, fixtures and fittings. Downstairs you will find the main living room with a huge inglenook fireplace, an extremely well-equipped modern kitchen and dining room which also has an Inglenook fireplace for those extremely personal evening banquets. There is also an office should you need to catch up with some work whilst you are enjoying your staycation in this rather gorgeous home. Upstairs you will find a plethora of versatile bedrooms with master having a super kingsize bed with an en-suite with shower cubicle and bath, which is well fitted with a contemporary feel that matches the whole house. The second bedroom has a kingsize with an en-suite shower room as does the third. The fourth and fifth bedrooms for the children have small single beds in them with their own bathroom with a child-size bath.

Please note that this area on the top floor has very limited head room in both the rooms and the staircase.
Stepping outside is just as amazing as you meander your way through the immaculate topiary gardens to the bottom steps it opens up to an amazing lake for you to use for fishing, or just simply relaxing by as it is one of the most remarkable venues. The lake contains many species of fish, including carp, tench, and perch. You are literally surrounded by all the fun you are going to need for your staycation of a lifetime. There is so much to do here and not enough room to list all the special features of this beautiful property in a very private and gated area. This will truly blow your mind when you drive into the property through its security gates and the memories you will make will last a lifetime.
These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 18 guests
