Set in the pretty riverside village of Calstock, in the heart of the Tamar Valley (a quiet area of Cornwall close to the border with Devon).

It is a great base from which to explore many areas, including the market town of Tavistock, Dartmoor with rugged tors, rural mid Cornwall, or even the sweeping beaches on the north and south Cornish coastlines.
