Beside the River Fowey, this characterful riverside retreat offers a peaceful Cornish base with estuary views and plenty of coastal charm. It is well suited to a couple, small family or friends who want relaxed waterside living close to Fowey, Polruan and the South West Coast Path. The setting suits unhurried mornings and easy evenings by the water.
The ground floor is centred around a bright open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area, where French doors frame the water and lead out to the veranda. Comfortable seating, a TV, DVDplayer and wood burner make the space inviting in every season, while the well-equipped kitchen includes the essentials for simple holiday meals.

A separate WC adds convenience downstairs. Upstairs, the king-size bedroom enjoys a lovely estuary outlook, and the second bedroom has a single bed with an additional pull-out single for flexible sleeping. A bathroom with a shower over the bath completes the layout.
Outside, the riverside terrace is a delightful place to eat, read or watch life on the water. Guests also have access toa shared pontoon, opening up opportunities for fishing, crabbing, paddleboarding, kayaking or arranging a boat hire to explore the river.

There is off-road parking for two cars, making days out straightforward. Fowey’s historic harbour is nearby, while Polruan can be reached by car and passenger ferry. Looe, Polperro, Mevagissey and Lostwithiel are all worth visiting, and attractions such as Eden Project, the gardens at Heligan, Charlestown and National Trust places add plenty of choice to a stay on this beautiful stretch of Cornwall.
