Glastonbury, a thriving market town and a major tourist venue, is 10 miles away. Visit Glastonbury Tor, the abbey and its spiritual essence within the town, and the annual Glastonbury Festival which takes place in nearby Pilton. Street is home to a famous shoe industry and is now well known for its designer outlet shopping complex, Clarks Village.
