It is set between woodland and open countryside with panoramic views to the Blackdown Hills in the lovely vale of Taunton Deane on the Somerset/Devon border. This wonderful property is warm, spacious and homely, furnished and decorated to a high standard throughout, with everything you would need for a family holiday. It is particularly well equipped for children, with an outdoor games room offering table football, air hockey, snooker and darts. There is also a den room for the children and a shared park close by with swings and slides.

There is so much to keep the children entertained at Wagtails. Meanwhile the adults can relax in the private hot tub, even in the winter months, or relax in the shower steam room or corner bath. Wagtails provides everything you would need for all the family.

Located on the site of the owner’s plant nursery/small holding and adjoining a 200-acre nature reserve, it’s a perfect place to unwind and get away from it all. Freshly baked cakes and cream teas with clotted cream and homemade jams and tasty light lunches are served in the summer months in the small tea shop at the nursery gardens.

The village pub is within walking distance and offers real ales, open fires and good food. Nearby places to discover include Tiverton with its castle and bustling old market, as well as Exmoor National Park. Minehead and North Devon, with sandy beaches, are within easy reach and the town of Wellington is also close by where an excellent range of shops can be found. Taunton is within 10 miles, and the city of Exeter is approximately 22 miles, brimming with history and heritage, and it offers many visitor attractions to keep you entertained for hours on end.
