The city of Plymouth, with its vibrant shopping centre, aquarium, historic Barbican area and Plymouth Hoe, is just a short drive away. Totnes, a handsome market town in the South Hams, is easily reached and river cruises can be taken from here down to Dartmouth during the summer months.
