With cliff walking, kayaking along the River Fowey, sailing and sea fishing from one of the many fishing villages close by, Camellia Cottage really is in the ideal location to enjoy all that Cornwall has to offer. Caerhays Castle, and Porthluney Beach, are two beautiful little beaches that provide the perfect place for a moonlit stroll, or somewhere to practise building sandcastles with your little ones.
A similar distance away will bring you to the world famous Lost Gardens of Heligan, the quaint fishing port of Mevagissey and the Georgian Port of Charlestown (with its resident tall ships). Further afield is the Eden Project, the capital city of Truro, St Mawes and the surfing beaches of Newquay. The South Cornwall coast is home to many National Trust houses and gardens, which provide superb days out for all. Golf, horse riding, cycle hire and off road trails for walking and riding are all available close by. Beach 4 miles. Shop 1¾ miles, pub and restaurant ¾ mile.
