With stunning views over open countryside, this charming, three bedroomed, terraced barn conversion is located just 5 miles from Newquay. It offers comfortable accommodation and nestles in the corner of an exclusive courtyard of private homes. Coachmans Cottage is a home-from-home, featuring little touches to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. There is a selection of books, DVDs, games and children’s toys, as well as free wi-fi and a luxury welcome basket complete with everything you need to enjoy a traditional Cornish tea. On arrival, you’ll be greeted with a warm smile, a warm house and cosy ready-made beds. The open-plan kitchen/dining area provides social space to enjoy a family meal.
The living room has an electric coal-effect fire, traditional furnishings and provides access to a small terrace. From the terrace, stone steps lead down to the stone-walled private garden complete with furniture for six and a BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining. There’s also storage for bikes and surfboards, and a slate chipping patio where wetsuits can be rinsed and dried. There are 2 parking spaces to the rear of the courtyard, and access is permitted for loading and unloading at any time.

Just 5 minutes from the A30, Coachmans Cottage is close St Columb Major, the energetic Newquay harbour, and a short drive from legendary surfing beaches including Watergate Bay.
The quaint fishing port of Padstow is 12 miles and 15 miles from historic Truro. There are many celebrity chefs, family pubs and must-see attractions to enjoy during your break in Cornwall. From the fascinating Eden Project and Sea Life Centre, to the beautiful Camel Trail and coastal walks from Port Isaac, there is something for everyone to do within a 30-minute drive of this all-season rural retreat. Golf lovers have plenty of choice too, with courses in Newquay, Trevose, St Enodoc and Roserrow. Beach 5 miles. Shop, pub and restuarant 2 miles.
