The surfing town of Newquay with its seven stunning beaches is just minutes’ away and is easily accessible on foot along the coastal path. It has many attractions which include a multi-screen cinema, leisure centre, golf course, pitch and putt course, parks and gardens. Newquay has many restaurants, cafés and shops, as well as beaches, sea fishing trips and dramatic cliff-top walks. With its beaches comes surf and surf schools, so you can try your hand at this exhilarating sport. Visit many of the local attractions, such as Watergate Bay and the fishing village of Padstow, with its many excellent restaurants. Discover the flat walking and cycling trail that links Padstow to Wadebridge and hugs the shoreline of the beautiful Camel estuary all the way along.
Bike hire is available at both ends of this stunning trail. Truro the capital of Cornwall is easily reached and is a must to explore the narrow streets and enjoy the restaurants, shopping, museum, cinema and theatre for an alternative day or evening out.
Both properties provide an ideal base to explore further afield. The Lost Gardens of Heligan, the Eden Project and many NT gardens, parks and houses are close by, such as Lanhydrock House and Trerice Manor. St Ives, Falmouth, Fowey and Mevagissey are all easily reached and all provide an alternative day out. Golf, cycling, horse riding, surfing, sailing, and kayaking area all available locally. Beach 50 yards. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
