The Eden Project is close by, 5½ miles, the Lost Gardens of Heligan is only 5 miles, and the wonderful working sailing ship port of Charlestown only 6 miles, with Mevagissey around 5 miles away. Truro, the commercial capital, is close by and has a theatre, cinema, museum and an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants along with river trips down to Falmouth on the south coast. Lanjeth Riding School and coarse fishing at Glenleigh Farm, both 2 miles, and golf is available nearby. Shops and pub 1 mile.
