Your holiday haven boasts a rather lovely communal lawned area to the front, with private seating area with furniture. Venture inside and a roomy and comfortable living room with a bright open-plan kitchen/dining room, well equipped throughout. Venture upstairs and there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the second with twin beds.
Newquay, a mecca for water sport enthusiasts, has over twelvebeaches with swathes of golden sand, coves, inlets and at low tides rock pools too! The hugely popular Fistral and Watergate Bay beaches are known for their excellent waves rolling in from the vast Atlantic Ocean.
Animal lovers will enjoy Newquay Zoo and the all-weather Blue Reef Aquarium, directly on the seafront. The town also has many historical areas, wonderful gardens, breath taking coastal walks and stunning scenery.
Venture outside of town and you are in a most beautiful part of Cornwall. Thriving Padstow, with its celebrity inspired restaurant and a lovely harbour, where you can spendan hour or two watching the world go by.
There are narrow streets, with galleries, cafes and boutique shops too. A short distance from Padstow lies Port Isaac, the ‘home’ of Doc Martin, whilst inland the mysterious and atmospheric Bodmin Moor is a walkers’ paradise. From the town here you can take a step back in time on the heritage steam railway or visit the chilling Bodmin Jail Experience. For cyclists, follow the 18-mile Camel trail through wondrous scenery all the way to Padstow, stopping off perhaps at the ancient town of Wadebridge with its many pubs and restaurants. Beach 6 miles.
