The local community run shop and pubs are both within walking distance of the cottage.
Located in the heart of North Devon, Grace Cottage is perfectly placed to get out and explore all this stunning area has to offer. The North Devon coastline has a little something for everyone from quaint old fishing villages at Bucks Mill and Clovelly, to large sandy beaches at Saunton and Westward Ho!. The quay and lighthouse at Hartland offer some stunning scenery whatever the weather. Other local attractions include the RHS gardens at Rosemoor and Dartington Crystal Factory, both near Great Torrington.
There are three golf courses close by, the nearest being Libbaton Golf Course.
Salmon and trout fishing on the River Taw can be arranged locally, whilst slightly further afield both Dartmoor and Exmoor are easily accessible to enjoy a day’s exploring. There is cycling along the Tarka Trail. Nearby Barnstaple has a good range of shops, restaurants and local amenities, as well as a theatre and cinema. If you have younger ones, The Big Sheep and Milky Way Adventure Park are great places to head for. Beach 14½ miles. Shop 500 yards, pub 200 yards and restaurant 8 mile
