Killerby Old Hall is an extraordinary property dating back to 980 AD, originally a Saxon fort. This incredible piece of history has evolved over time to become a luxurious manor house, offering a unique blend of historical charm and modern comfort. Each room in the manor is spacious and inviting, adorned with sumptuous furnishings where no expense has been spared.
On the ground floor, you’ll find two characterful living rooms. The first living room features a wood burner and a huge TV, making it perfect for unforgettable movie nights. The separate grand dining room boasts a massive dining table beneath a sparkling chandelier, ideal for hosting elegant dinners. The high-spec kitchen includes a second smaller dining area with elevated views over the enclosed garden. Here, you can enjoy a hot tub and outdoor seating for al fresco dining. Steps from the ground floor lead to a convenient utility room.

Upstairs, Killerby Old Hall offers four incredible bedrooms, each generous in size and furnished to an exceptionally high standard, with each room having its own en-suite. The bedrooms include a double, a king, a super king, and a family room with a king bed and two singles, ensuring ample space and comfort for all guests.
Killerby Old Hall is situated between the coastal resorts of family friendly Filey, with its cobble landing and pretty promenade, and Scarborough, with its vibrant South Bay and naturally picturesque North Bay, located on part of Britain’s heritage coast. To the north, across the stunning North Yorkshire Moors, lies the port of Whitby; famous for its connections to Captain James Cook and Dracula. Robin Hood’s Bay, a former fishing village with a smugglers past, has quaint streets which lead visitors to a small, sandy cove and rock pools.

Heading inland, find the historic market town of Pickering, where the famous North Yorkshire Moors steam train begins its journey. Access Dalby Forest through the attractive village of Thornton-le-Dale and be sure to stop for an ice cream. The forest offers a range of activities including mountain bike tracks, or for those feeling adventurous there is Go Ape. It is also a popular picnic destination which is surrounded by walks that the whole family can enjoy.
Travel a little further afield to Castle Howard with its stunning house and grounds. The ancient, Roman walled city of York sits just an hour up the A64, a famously haunted city with many attractions such as the railway museum, river trips and excellent shopping. To the south along the coast, the Cleveland Way leads to dramatic Flamborough Head and the Bempton RSPB Sanctuary. Beach 1½ miles
