Dating back to the 18th century, this enchanting barn conversion, adjacent to the owners’ home, stands at the edge of the Georgian town of Richmond, enjoying magnificent views towards Richmond Castle. There are good riverside and woodland walks from the door, including Wainwright’s famous ‘Coast to Coast’ walk. The Yorkshire Dales National Park is nearby. Within easy reach are many historic houses to visit, or you could always have a day at the races at either Catterick, Ripon or Thirsk. The coast is also within easy reach for a day out (approximately 1 hour’s drive). An ideal holiday base. Shops ½ mile, inn serving real ale within 200 yards.
