Adjoining the owner’s home, it is accessed by a ½ mile private drive and lies in the National Park with superb walking from the door.
Just 1 mile from the village, it is 2 miles from Robin Hood’s Bay – a picturesque village and renowned former smugglers’ haunt. With its 3 miles of sandy beaches, cliff top golf course, and colourful harbour and marina, the historic seaport of Whitby lies just 6 miles distant and Scarborough, 16 miles. The Esk Valley Railway also runs from Whitby, and the North York Moors Steam Railway from Grosmont, 12 miles. York 48 miles. Beach 2 miles. Pub and restaurant 1 mile.
