Dating back to 1905, The Old School House is a charming and characterful cottage that was once the original schoolhouse for the neighbouring school. Full of personality and thoughtful touches that reflect its past, you’ll notice subtle nods to school days throughout the property, including a traditional gym bench, adding to the unique charm of this delightful coastal retreat.
Ideally located in the heart of Scarborough, the cottage is perfectly placed for exploring everything this much-loved seaside town has to offer. The sandy beach of Scarborough South Bay is just a five-minute walk away, while the scenic Scarborough North Bay can be reached in around ten minutes, making it easy to enjoy seaside walks, traditional fish and chips, or a day by the sea.
Inside, the cottage offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The cosy lounge, complete with a woodburning stove, provides the perfect place to relax after a day exploring the coast.

The spacious dining room is ideal for sharing meals together, while two steps lead down to the adjoining well-equipped kitchen, offering everything you need if you enjoy cooking during your stay.
