A short stroll through the main street of Skipton takes you to the medieval Castle, one of the oldest in the country. The award-winning four day market, situated down the entire length of the main high street, attracts many tourists. There are many excellent pubs, restaurants and cafes, and the lively canal basin and Skipton woods offer great days out for both families and couples.
