This pretty red brick country cottage is immaculately presented with lots of original features such as oak beams and period fireplaces, the cottage has three rooms downstairs - a sitting room, dining room and well-equipped kitchen. In the sitting room a large comfortable sofa and loveseat, wooden floors, rugs and a Victorian fireplace along with a digital freesat TV and DVD/stereo, make this the place to curl up with your favourite film after a day exploring the Yorkshire countryside. The well equipped kitchen and light dining room with pretty wooden table and chairs provides plenty of space for preparing and enjoying family self-catering meals.

Upstairs wooden floors continue throughout the two bedrooms - a spacious double bedroom (with fireplace) and a lovely twin bedroom with 2 single beds. Both are fitted with cottage style beds, comfortable mattresses and quality bed linen (please bring your own towels). Also upstairs is a family bathroom, with bath and ample hot water. The cottage is centrally heated throughout and gas and electricity are included in the rental. Outside is private enclosed garden at the rear and parking for one car. The cottage faces onto Knavesmire, a large green area where York horse Races are held. Knavesmire Cottage is the ideal cottage for the perfect getaway in this beautiful part of Yorkshire.
