A fisherman’s dream, guests have use of a 3½-acre lake which is stocked with carp, roach and bream, as well as 6 other lakes 2 miles away at Hinderclay Lakes (£5 per day). There are seats and picnic tables around the site so guests can enjoy a picnic. Located between the villages of Rickinghall, which has a range of shops and restaurants, and Wortham, which has a pub, teashop, post office/store and tennis courts. Well situated to explore both Norfolk and Suffolk. The market town of Diss and the Waveney Valley are nearby, as is the historic cathedral town of Bury St Edmunds. The Suffolk Heritage Coast is easily accessible and the seaside towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh are not to be missed. Thetford Forest for cycle hire and children’s activities, and the city of Norwich are within an easy drive. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
