The Orchard4 bedrooms, Sleeps 8.

Spacious converted place of worship in a North Norfolk village, dog-friendly and ideal for groups, with high ceilings, en-suite bedrooms, an enclosed courtyard with gas BBQ, and easy trips to the coast and Broads.

No smoking. This property has a £150 security deposit.

This beautifully converted former chapel offers spacious and characterful holiday accommodation in North Norfolk, ideal for larger families or groups of friends seeking a countryside escape close to the coast. Blending historic architecture with modern comforts, it provides a unique and welcoming base for exploring the region.
Inside, the impressive open-plan living space makes full use of the original chapel design, with high ceilings and a sociable layout that’s perfect for gathering together. The lounge area features three comfortable sofas and a Smart TV for streaming, while the large dining table seats eight guests with ease. The well-equipped kitchen includes an electric range cooker and hob, microwave and dishwasher, and a separate utility room houses a fridge/freezer and washer/dryer — ideal for longer stays or family holidays.
The property sleeps up to eight guests across flexible accommodation.

A mezzanine-level double bedroom benefits from an en-suite bathroom. On the ground floor, there are two twin bedrooms (one with en-suite shower), a bunk bedroom with TV/DVD player and en-suite shower, plus an additional twin room with access to a separate shower room. This layout makes it particularly well suited to group holidays in Norfolk or multi-generational stays.
French doors open onto a fully enclosed courtyard patio with outdoor seating and a gas BBQ, creating a private space for al fresco dining during warmer months.
On-street parking is available directly outside, with additional parking next door at the Village Hall (honesty box system, recommended £10 for seven days).
Located in a peaceful North Norfolk village approximately eight miles from Holt and around 20 miles from Norwich, the property enjoys a quiet rural setting while remaining within easy reach of the coast.

Cromer, around 16 miles away, offers a traditional seaside experience along with Amazona Zoo and the Pavilion Theatre. Historic attractions including Blickling Estate, Felbrigg Hall, Holkham Hall, The Muckleburgh Collection and Thursford are all within driving distance, while the Norfolk Broads National Park offers over 125 miles of navigable waterways.
Within the village itself, guests can enjoy a friendly local bar open on Friday evenings, a visiting food truck, a spacious children’s playground, open fields ideal for dog walking, and a nearby farm shop offering locally produced goods.
For those searching for a large holiday home in North Norfolk with enclosed courtyard, family-friendly layout and easy access to the coast, this distinctive former chapel offers space, character and an excellent location.
