Outside you can enjoy views of the open countryside from the patio that has garden furniture for sitting-out and planning your daily activities. If you can tear yourself away from the peace and quiet, and indeed the hot tub long enough to explore, then you will find so much to see and do right on your doorstep.
Located just under 7 miles from the stunning Norfolk coastline, and the beautiful Norfolk Broads at Dilham Staithe are accessible from the bottom of the drive where fishing is available (permit required); this really is a great choice for those who want to experience all that this region has to offer.
There’s no slipway, but it is possible to launch your own canoe, inflatable dinghy or to lower a small craft. With lovely walks virtually from the front door, just a little further afield lies the stunning north Norfolk coastline. Head to Cromer and explore the famous pier and Edwardian seafront, enjoy a spot of lunch in one of the many independent cafés or head to Amazonia Zoo. But don’t stop there, this area has a string of pretty seaside towns and villages including picturesque Mundesley, Sheringham, Cley, Blakeney and Wells-next-the-Sea. For a change of scenery drive to nearby Wroxham, considered by many as the gateway to the Norfolk Broads.
Here you can join a tour or even charter your own boat and be skipper for the day. Add in Sheringham Park, Bewilderwood, the Thursford and Muckleburgh Collections, North Norfolk and Bure Valley Raliways, the Blickling, Holkham and Sandringham Estates, and indeed the medieval city of Norwich and you will see why guests flock to this part of the coast year after year. After a day of exploring you can return to Brick Kiln Barns and enjoy a lovely soak in the hot tub and then have a great night’s sleep, ready to start again! Beach 6 miles. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
These properties can be booked together to accommodate 8 guests.
