The seaside resorts of Cromer and Sheringham offer wide sandy beaches and a host of attractions within a 30-minute drive.

Cromer boasts a pier, a carnival week in August and, weather-permitting, a spectacular New Year’s Day celebration complete with fireworks. Sheringham is home to the North Norfolk Steam Railway, Splash Leisure and Fitness Centre and Sheringham Gardens. Numerous bird sanctuaries, salt marshes and wildlife centres punctuate the region, and popular RSPB nature and bird reserves can be found around Cley-next-the-Sea, Blakeney and Morston. Head to the seaside village of Mundesley, 8 miles, for its superb sandy beach and charming village centre. Dubbed ‘capital of the Norfolk Broads’, Wroxham provides daily boat hire, river trips, shops, waterside cafés and restaurants, making it an ideal starting point to explorethe Broads, just 4 miles away from the property.
