Enjoying its own private patio, it sits in the grounds of the owners’ home beside 200 acres of SSSI heath and woodland at Hevingham Lakes, a haven of wildlife offering regular sightings of kingfishers, squirrels, moorhens, barn owls, night jars and deer, whilst the two beautiful lakes are stocked with carp, tench, roach and rudd. Glorious beaches and harbours on the north Norfolk coast, boat trips on the Norfolk Broads (Wroxham is only 8 miles), the quaint town of Holt with its interesting shops, and seaside Cromer’s freshly caught crabs and seasonal end of pier show are all an easy drive. Shops in the market town of Aylsham, 4 miles, pub 1. 5 miles.
